Graduated from the prestigious Central Saint Martins (London, 2000) in Graphic Design and Multimedia, G.C. opened in 2003 an indipendent communication studio {micro-studio} in Bergamo, working mainly for fashion {I Pinco Pallino S.p.a.}, design {Pollice Illuminazione S.p.a.} and culture {Accademia Carrara Bergamo }.These are the years of the experimentation with exhibitions and installations in London and Milan: a series of video-clips for System 7 (Steve Hillage & Miquette Giraudi – UK worldwide famous electro music band) and emerging artists (Gaudi Music) part of the London electronic music scene.

In 2006 micro-studio relocated to New York, working initially with Jonathan Wasjkol {lecturer at the New School} and soon after co-founding micro-studio llc: working as independent contractor for some the most prestigious advertising agencies (G2 Direct & Digital,Ogilvy One) and media companies (MTV & Nickelodeon), bringing not only the know-how and talent Made in Italy, but also introducing a less corporate approach to graphic and web-design thanks to its unusual background.

Micro-studio LLC establishes itself as small container of cultural projects, introducing in the US famous European talents, such as the pluri-award winner designer Astrid Stavro, while establishing the company as an independent boutique creative studio working for the US fashion industry with ENK Trade Shows, Brian Atwood, Supima Cotton, Bebe and Coach.

In 2010 micro-studio llc and G.C. moved back to Italy, consolidating his role as multimedia creative director for I Pinco Pallino S.p.a (2000-2010): family’s business and worldwide leader in luxury kids wear – by designing a capsule collection dedicated to Tom & Jerry licenced by Warner Bross Consumer Products by introducing the techniques of screen-printing on finished garments and making of this collection best sold items of the season.

In 2011 launched madeinbergamo.com (MiB): a collective of designers and creative professionals from the region of Bergamo in Italy, aimed at promoting globally the local creative scene,organizing events, exhibition and brings presented 8 designers at the Clerkenwell Design Week in London (one of the selected designers is also Feb31 – wood eye-wear design). MiB is a unique experience, conceived and organized as an indipendent Think-Tank with new collaborations and projects, such as the ongoing partnership with Mogi Caffè – Luxury Italian Coffee – who sponsored the exhibition and pop-up store in New York dedicated to the acclaimed designer Pio Manzu‘, curated and organized by G.C. at Spring Design Gallery in Dumbo (Brooklyn). Thanks to the successful series of cultural events and exhibitions hosted at Immobilaire dellla Fiera Spa (luxury real estate) G.C. curates an homage-exhibition dedicated to the Italian architect Marcello Piacentini, that will lead in 2013 to the launch of the international competition of Bergamo Master Plan.

In January 2013 the launch of kidsrevolution.net (KR): a start-up project dedicated to the world of design for kids, based on the business module of MiB, by grouping independent designers and introducing them to retailers and consumers. In July 2013 KR is guest of honor at Pitti Immagine Bimbo Trade Show in Florence (The most important venue in the field), with an installation named “ Is this my shop?” showcasing: Cartunia, FiloBio, The Cow Shed UK, Easy Baby TV Europe, Katrin Arens Design, Nina & Other Littles Things and a charity auction for the kids of Fukushima in collaboration with Antonio Marras, granting KR the cover of Vogue Bambini and press reviews from industry medias.

By October G.C. leaves Europe to start lecturing Multimedia at Raffles Design Institute in Singapore and later relocated to launch the multimedia courses in the island of Batam in Indonesia while freelancing for CapCon – Casco (US Automotive Industry) as SEA Creative lead.

South East Asia is also the land of the launch of Goodfellas 0.0, (collective of DJs, Designers, and video artists Bali, 2014/2015), performing with music producers and DJ such Mix Master Morris, Alex Retox and Osman Gayatree, just to name few. In October 2014 as main VJ at Dance for Peace Festival (Gili Nangu island), led G.C. and his team to the Event Organising of Wonderland events at The Mansion Hotel in (Ubud).

While in Singapore and Bali new projects and freelance opportunites arises like 69 Slam beach- wear as the Creative Direction of the advertising campaign Fall/Winter 2015, working with UK photographer Jason Reposar.

In February 2015 in Marrakech G.C. melts all past experiences to launch DP (Dar Pinco), an Exclusive Creative Residence: 4 exclusive rooms dedicated only to creative professionals (fashion/ graphic/web/product design, PR, marketing, branding, architecture…). A new way of conceiving “hospitality” for a niche target giving them the opportunity to do networking and create collaborations between residents and local designers.

From 2017 Digital nomad between London, Bali and Italy, but it’s the magic of Bali that in 2018 will be the background for the latest adventures at first by creating the ID for Lila Boutik Residence and also Burung Bebas Bali (BBB), the first a super cool boutique hotel in the hipster Canggu managed by BBB.
